Acorn Couch

We recently added this small couch to our school’s calm corner in each classroom, and it has been such a wonderful addition for our students, especially those with autism. The size is perfect—compact enough to fit neatly into a designated calming space, but still comfortable for kids to sit, curl up, or rest without feeling crowded.

The couch provides a sense of safety and coziness that really supports self-regulation. The soft cushions and supportive back make it inviting, and students naturally gravitate toward it when they need a break or a quiet moment. It’s also sturdy enough to withstand daily use, which is so important in a school setting.

What I appreciate most is how it helps create a designated, consistent space for calming strategies. Having this couch available encourages kids to use the calm corner as a positive tool instead of seeing it as a consequence. Teachers have noticed students returning to class activities more regulated and ready to learn after spending a few minutes there.

Overall, this small couch is a fantastic resource for any school or classroom looking to create a sensory-friendly space. It’s comfortable, durable, and truly supports the needs of children with autism and other sensory differences.

Unfortunately our couch ripped within one day of use. I immediately emailed and sent pictures of the tears. I was told that a new cover would be sent, however one month later and still have not received new covers as promised. For the price i expect a better product

My kids absolutely loved this! They've made multiple forts, rode down the stairs and one even slept on it to camp out in his brother's room which was perfect! It's very soft and super easy to maneuver. Easy enough for my kids of varying ages to carry and set up.

I really love the Acorn Couch. My kids were super excited when the box arrived! I was surprised how the couch fit into the box. The couch is comfortable. My kids love to sit and relax on it by turning it into a bed. They also love jumping on it and are able to move the cushions around all by themselves. I like the waterproof liner and that it is easy to clean. It is such a nice addition to their playroom!
