Who is this attraction best for? People of all ages. Children over 6 would get the most out of this but as I mentioned my 4 yr old loved it and did not get bored. I feel like this would be a great experience for people visiting the Toronto Area from outside the GTA, especially people who live in or who have visited Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Quebec, the Eastern provinces and soon to be the Prairies. We would recommend this attraction to friends and family and we look forward to coming back!

Between the search and find for the moose in each location, the moving trains and different moving parts (my kids both loved a small seesaw in a playground), and the locations they are familiar with in Toronto, the kids were totally engaged. We spent 90 minutes in the exhibition and my son would have stayed longer so he could watch the trains move through the exhibits. We went first thing in the morning and it wasn't very busy so it really felt like we got a full experience. I loved that they have a railing the kids could stand on to get closer and see more of the exhibit.
Every employee we saw engaged with us - they were extraordinarily kind, showing the kids all kinds of hidden and interesting things (the Grinch on Mount Crumpit in Petit Quebec, the puffins in Little East Coast, and the teeny, tiny chickens in Niagara).
The crew are working on building Little North and Little West Coast. I was also appreciative that they began our visit with a land acknowledgement, I noticed Indigenous elements throughout the exhibition, and one of the employees mentioned that they are consulting with First Nations to make sure that the Little North exhibition will be accurate and not appropriation.
I think this is the kind of experience that every time we go, I will see something new and different. From the transition of day to night, the soundscapes that amplify the experience (loved hearing the GO train bell when it pulled into the station), and the attention to detail...this is truly a unique and fun filled experience for the whole family.

I can't help but appreciate the dedication and artistry that went into crafting these miniature Canadian scenes. The attention to detail is impeccable and showcases a level of craftsmanship that captivated both my kids and myself.
The staff at Little Canada were enthusiastic and they made the experience even more enjoyable for my family. They engaged with my children, answering their curious questions.
The miniature versions of cities in different seasons were a particular hit with my children. The day and night views added an extra element of wonder, and the scavenger hunt featuring Maurice the moose kept them engaged and excited throughout our visit.
Little Canada easily occupied a good couple of hours of our time. The super-friendly staff, the captivating attention to detail, and the overall family-friendly atmosphere make Little Canada a must-visit destination for moms looking to create lasting memories with their children.

There's a little snack bar partway through that was handy for sitting down and having a quick snack/rest, and a spot near the beginning of the exhibit for parking your stroller. The exhibit is over a few floors so it's not the most stroller friendly - it's best for kids who are old enough to walk for a while. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

I shouldn't have worried. Even the almost-13-year-old was impressed - we especially loved seeing Toronto (our home town) and other places we've actually been to (Ottawa and PEI for example). The level of detail is amazing and everywhere you look there's something else nifty to see.
Highlights for me were definitely watching the bay of fundy fill up and empty! And the hotel rooms (in the Chateau Laurier I believe).
The little hidden things were so much fun to find too - as it was the holidays, there was a grinch! (And also a Pennywise from Hallowe'en)
We will definitely be back again in 2024 when we were told the West coast would be added.

We took our entire family, 2 adults, and 2 kids(5 & 10) the week after Christmas. No lineup and we appreciated the free coat check.
I think we spent about an hour here, my 5 year old went through the exhibit much more slowly than my 10 year old did.
The different regions were all really cool and unique to look at. The Niagara region is probably the best, and the first exhibit, so comparatively speaking some of the other regions weren’t as impressive as this one.
But some of the features and thought put into the regions were so thoughtful and detailed. I loved the raptors game being broadcast in the stadium.
We all really enjoyed our time here, the only caveat is the price per ticket is quite high, very cost prohibitive for many people. I think a 25%-50% price reduction in ticket cost would draw in a lot more visitors.

We are excited to see what exhibits they’ll be adding in the future that further tells the wonderful story of Canada through this unique perspective.

A big hit was the "Find the Moose" game. You're given a map with clues, and in each area you have to find 4 hidden moose. This really kept my kids engaged and helped them focus on the models.
I was surprised the tiny cafeteria didn't have more child friendly snacks. Since you can't bring in your own food, I recommend eating first to avoid hanger.
An interesting touch, they have a really cool machine that uses a 360 degree array of cameras that digitize you for the creation of your own miniature model. There is even an option to have your model permanently added to the exhibit. It is quite pricey ranging from $40 to almost $250 depending on what options you choose.
I highly recommend using the coat check so you don't have to lug around all your little one's jackets and backpacks.
Little Canada is a fun time for everyone. Grown-ups marvel at the details, and the kids love finding the hidden moose. We spent at least 2 hours, and would like to return when the upcoming displays for the Prairies, Rockies, and West Coast are added.

What a beautiful exhibit - the details and the craftsmanship are beyond beautiful. The change from night to day was amazing and the extra visuals like fireworks on Parliament Hill are great additions. My 6 year old and her friend loved it - Maurice the Moose was a great way to get them interested. Too old for my 4 year old. Overall, I would recommend it for kids 8+ as they would be able to appreciate more and play the Where's Maurice game on their own.

So much fun!

First of all, the amount of detail is simply astounding. I fully understand why it takes so long to create each province, its amazing.
When PTPA reached out for me to go and try out the experience I thought, well, may as well, but really wasn't expecting much because I didn't know much about it.
I was so pleasantly surprised! We all enjoyed, including my three little ones! I have a 4 yr. old, a 7 yr. old and 9 yr old and there was something for everyone. Truly a fabulous experience that I would recommend to every family including tourists coming to visit our beautiful city of Toronto.
